Anglozine – Nº6

Nº6 is the 2023 collection based on the 1967 TV show The Prisoner, with its Kafkaesque story lines and the ultimate dream to escape the confines of society and break free of a 9 – 5 existence, live for more than just the weekend and a two week vacation.

Art direction for the campaign focused on the Orwellian concept of of totalitarianism, mass surveillance, and repressive regimentation of people and behaviours within society. The shoot was done on location at Electro Props in Park Royal, where we also set up a portable studio for the isolated prop shots of individual looks. The zine was produced with an A2 poster wrap, the design of which is a hand drawn version of Albertus inspired by a print from a scene in the series. The use of Albertus as the season typeface is a reference to the original series.

Social content was created by shooting digital stills through a vintage Hasselblad viewfinder which were combined in AE with additional effects feat. the audio track Nite by Detect.
